Sumac has been used all over the world as a seasoning for thousands of years. It naturally imparts an incredible citrus-like flavor, but after cooking provides a savory balance to just about any meat or fish. Our Northcast Dry Rub blend also contains a dash of Spanish Paprika, which provides the slightest smokey notes to round out the flavor profile.
