Recipes for Northcast Dry Rub Seasoning
We’ve enjoyed this seasoning on so many things in our own kitchen; but now that we’ve sold it for a while, we are receiving ideas from friends and customers, too!
Here are some of our favorites:
Grilled steak - this one simple. Before you grill your steaks, coat each side with a little oil, followed by Northcast Dry Rub.
Roasted Potatoes a la Northcast - cut potatoes into small cubes, toss in a bowl with oil and Northcast seasoning, spread on a baking sheet and bake at 425 for 7-10 minutes, stir, then roast for another 7 minutes.
Popcorn - that’s right! Heat up a tablespoon of oil on the stove in a pot with a lid; drop in some kernels and once they’ve popped, shake in some Northcast Dry Rub.
Everything Dipping Sauce - in a bowl, mix 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream) with Northcast Dry Rub Seasoning to taste. This stuff is addicting!
Blackened Fish Fillet - dry your fillet on paper towels one hour prior to cooking. Coat the fillet generously in Northcast Dry Rub and proceed to blacken on a skillet - we love cast iron for this!
Seasoned Sautéed Veggies - very simple: just dust the seasoning over peppers & onion or whatever veggies your mixing with oil! Cook them just until tender and serve.
Grilled Chicken Goodness - Dry Rub grilled chicken is savory and mouth watering. Dry the meat prior to cooking and follow with a coating of Northcast Dry Rub. Throw it on the grill and cook until the interior temp. reaches 165
Northcast Bloody Mary - V8 or tomato juice + teaspoon Worcestershire + teaspoon of Northcast Dry Rub Seasoning + vodka (or not!) + add pickles, olives and garnish to taste.
