Getting Ready for the 2023 Farmers Market Season

May brings along with it so many joyous things - the seeds we’ve sown begin to grow, we get to work in the garden, and the Farmers Markets are open!

Northcast is getting ready for our second year at the Richfield Farmers Market with new jewelry, new candles, more dry rub seasoning and more fish fry breading.

Our schedule is to be there every other weekend, sometimes every two weekends (because we need to go camping and traveling, too!)

Last year our best selling product by far was our dry rub seasoning with sumac. It was a complete hit, and especially when we were giving out samples of the seasoning on popcorn. There were quite a few repeat customers who would come back for a bigger size, or to buy some as a gift.

Our garlic herb bread usually sold out. Though we only have 8-10 loaves for sale on average, our neighbors love how soft and fragrant it is. Plus, we price it fairly at $4-$5. We only have one oven at home; trust me, it’s baked with love!

Northcast jewelry is a strong seller most days - especially the earrings. Sometimes we will run a deal if you buy more than one pair, you get a discount or bundle price. This year you can expect to see many new necklaces and more bracelets. Come check out the jewelry display at our first market!

This year we even expect to be selling our candles, hats and t-shirts as well so you can rep Northcast wherever you go.

Our absolute favorite part of the Richfield Farmers Market is how we get to meet our neighbors and feel like a part of the community. Everyone is so kind and supportive. We love shopping with other local vendors and incorporating homemade goods into our routine purchases.

Thank you so much to everyone who comes out to see what we’ve got cookin’ - can’t wait to see you again!

Sincerely,

Jaz & Tom
