This has really been a game-changer. We don’t have space to store a camper, and renting them is very expensive. We have multiple ground-tents, which are cool… but once you are camp on a site that doesn’t have grass, or is just hard ground, you naturally look for alternatives!
We discovered the truck tent 3 years ago - it fits right in our 5.5’ short box, even with the rolling tonneau cover! It’s just as easy to set up as a ground tent (taking us about 10 minutes now that we have our system down.) and it fits a queen mattress perfectly between the wheel wells!

Okay everyone has their favorite camping grill or cooktop - But if they don’t, they probably have “old trusty”… the pan that’s been washed in the river a thousand times.
A couple years ago I purchased one as a birthday gift for my partner, and we honestly didn’t use it until the following year! It’s heavy, not SUPER compact, and requires care. All of which we didn’t think fit into our camping checklist. WE WERE SO WRONG! It has since come on a great deal of camping adventures, from up north Minnesota to down in southwest Wisconsin. We’ve enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner on the Blackstone and found that the maintenance really isn’t too bad.

Campsites are just prettier (and safer) with ambient lighting at night. I’ll even pack battery operated tea lights to really set the mood.

We love our fresh espresso in the mornings. So when we’re camping, it’s nice to have a fresh coffee made with espresso beans! The aeropress does a fine job at producing a beautiful cup at the campsite. We travel with it everywhere and highly recommend it to any of our fellow caffeine enthusiasts.
